![]() These cards are more than enough to win the game. Here you should own the following cards – Rhok’delar, Deathstalker Rexxar, Call of the Wild. Late Game: If you follow these advice, you can reach the last stage of the game. If it is not an option you can still protect your face with Secrets or any removal.ģ. Mid Game: In the middle of the game you can build borad with Flanking Strike, Lesser Emerald Spellstone, or To My Side!. Against midrange or control decks, in early game you should muligan to Lesser Emerald Spellstone and Secrets or use Tracking to find Deathstalker Rexxar and Rhok’delarĢ. if it is not enough you can search an optimal solution with Tracking for example Unleash the hounds or Eaglehorn bow. Early Game: Easy to defend your face against any aggro decks because 1 or 2 mana cost spells helps you to remove minions with low health. The deck built around the new Hunter legendary weapon Rhok’delar.ġ. This is a pretty new conception what borned with the seventh expansion Cobolds&Catacombs. It is the first control Hunter what i’ve ever made since the Hearthstone is available in EU region. If you only have 1x To My Side! then you are better off keeping your Savannah Highmane.Let the hunt begin! (or not, just casting spells) If you have only Rhok'delar you can take out 2x Savannah Highmane and put in Multi-Shot. It is usually too slow in aggro matches and worse than Deathstalker Rexxar in control matches unless you have almost won (which happens less than half the time due to their high sustain and taunt walls). Rhok'delar is good in midrange matches since you have a good chance to get enough burn to get those last few hp down and midrange decks can usually deal with Deathstalker Rexxar and his 1 minion drop per turn so you are better off with steady shot. Deathstalker Rexxar is probably the best improvement for this deck but only if you are running into a lot of control decks since he is often too slow in aggro, tempo and midrange matches where staying aggressive with steady shot usually gets you a better winrate. 1x Grievous Bite, +1x Deathstalker Rexxar. To My Side! is not that much stronger than Savannah Highmane but it has an immediate effect and 2 bodies and can often protect your wolves from the spellstone. If you have some cards that require you to have no minions in your deck then its time to take Savannah Highmane out. ![]() If you have Deathstalker Rexxar then you are looking for him to play him on turn 6 (unless the game looks like you can finish it by staying aggressive for 1-2 more turns). Your best bet is to get your spellstones by turn 5 and finish before they can stabilize. If you are expecting some early big minions you can keep Hunter's Mark or Deadly Shot. You want to keep Tracking, Animal Companion, Eaglehorn Bow. You are playing control in these matches and want to keep their board clear and your board alive for as long as possible until you have enough damage to push for lethal within 1-2 turns. If the rest of your hand looks decent you can keep Flanking Strike since it is a great tempo play. You want to keep Candleshot, Explosive Trap, Eaglehorn Bow and Unleash the Hounds. Also if you have Lesser Emerald Spellstone in your starting hand you can keep 2 of any secret to ensure that you can upgrade it by turn 5. You can consider keeping Tracking since it allows you to set up your Lesser Emerald Spellstone by finding some secrets (or another spellstone). In general you want to keep Lesser Emerald Spellstone since it is your strongest card and Wandering Monster since you want to upgrade your spellstone as fast as possible and Wandering Monster is your best secret in every matchup. Without him your best bet against control decks is to be aggressive and finish the game early, but your chance of winning is still low. Deathstalker Rexxar is usually the primary wincondition in those matchups since Control decks cant outvalue infinite value. This deck plays mostly like the non-budget version of Spellhunter but it has a great weakness: Control matches. Follow it up with Savannah Highmane to give your opponent real headaches. Your strongest play however is to upgrade your Lesser Emerald Spellstone and play it on curve since it can decide games on the spot (if your opponent cant deal with it on the spot). The goal of the deck is to control the board early on with traps, weapons and efficient spells while slowly chipping at your opponents health with your hero power and your Eaglehorn Bow which has near infinite charges. This deck still contains 2 minions ( Savannah Highmane) since there are no cheap cards that require a no-minion deck and Savannah Highmane is one of the best midrange minions in the game. ![]() Mysteries of the Phoenix: Druid and HunterĪ budget version of Spellhunter.
